What Time Are Services?

Saturday Vespers: 6pm

Sunday Orthros: 9am

Sunday Divine Liturgy: 10pm

What Should I Wear?

When you come to worship, we encourage attire that reflects
reverence and respect.

Some Suggestions Include:
Men: Collared/button-down shirts with dress pants

Women: Modest dresses, blouses, or dress pants
We kindly ask that casual clothing (such as jeans or shorts) be avoided during services.
Children are encouraged to dress in the same respectful manner.

Can I Bring My Kids?

Children are a blessing, and we welcome them with joy.
At times, little ones may become unsettled. When this happens, we kindly ask parents to step into the narthex/cry room until they are calm, so that all may continue in prayer.

Silence & Reverence

The church is a place of prayer and sacred stillness.
Please refrain from conversations inside the sanctuary.
If something is urgent, we ask that you step outside quietly.
If it is not urgent, it can wait.
Let us be mindful of one another—
speaking softly, moving gently,
and keeping a spirit of humility and reverence.
Respect the house of God, and one another.

Cell Phones

Please silence all phones completely.
A ringing phone, even once, breaks a sacred moment.

Food, Gum & Drinks

No gum whatsoever.
No food or drinks in the nave, unless medically necessary .

Arriving On Time

Please make every effort to arrive on time for the Divine Services.
Entering late—especially during the reading of the Holy Gospel—causes distraction and disrupts the prayer of the faithful.
If we are able to be on time for our daily obligations, let us also be on time to worship the God who has given us life and breath.

Walking Around/Movement

Please silence all phones completely.
A ringing phone, even once, breaks a sacred moment.
Out of reverence for worship and consideration for others, please limit unnecessary movement.
Frequent coming and going can be distracting during prayer.
We understand that needs arise; when possible, please take care of them before the service begins.

Blessing / Holy Communion

When you come forward:
Approach calmly and prayerfully
Remove your hands from your pockets
Stand attentively and with reverence
Cross your arms over your chest
(right over left)

Reminder that ONLY Orthodox Christians can receive Holy Communion. If you are not Orthodox, you may still come up during communion time for a blessing.

Posture During Worship

In the Orthodox Church, we stand in prayer before God.
Seating is available for those who need it.

A Spirit of Reverence

As we gather in the presence of God:
Let us dress modestly, reflecting the holiness of His house
Let us enter quietly, with hearts prepared for prayer
Let us remain attentive, offering ourselves fully in worship
Let us stay, when possible, until the final blessing
